We've stayed in beach houses we rent through Outer Beaches realty for about 27 years now and have really had no problem. Actually once we got there and the key they'd given us wasn't the right one but we just called the number and even though it was after closing they came right away and gave us the right key which is kinda important when you just drove 8 hours to get there and have little kids and all. But the beach houses have been great and we always have had a great time down there. Lots to enjoy on outer banks. Super clean sand and water though waves bit big except on Okrakoke where they are smaller and we always go down there for at least one day during the week.
