If I could give them MINUS stars, I would! Do NOT book with this company!! We had all the faith in them after renting a lovely home last summer (2013). We even paid the extra $30 to "reserve" the same home for 2014. Then the nightmare of all vacationers happens to our family (all from out-of-town except for one group), we call for a final balance to pay off our 2014 rental and are told it was rented to another group because THEY (Sunset Prop) applied our down payment to our 2013 vacation (7 months prior and already OVER) as an "overpayment"!! REALLY???? What kind of personnal do they employ in their accounting department??? On top of that all, they held our down payment money since January 2014 and never bothered to let us know they were collecting interest all the while. Their response? "Can't do anything for y'all, sorry." They "offered" to book us somewhere else "comparable", well, THAT'S a laugh. We were scheduled for the week of July 5-12 (a month away when they told us of their SNAFU); there is NOTHING available, let alone comparable!! We managed to find a place through another rental agency (only because they had a customer back out at the last minute) that will fit our large clan, but there's nothing comparable to what we RESERVED for! So this is how they treat repeat customers???? Sunset Properties is the perfect example of the death of customer service!! It's only about the $$$$ for them, nothing else, and we were, unfortunately, made well aware of that by Sunset Properties. Absolutely abominable....
