I came to the center a few months ago on a friend's recommendation because of some knee problems I had been having. This was following a couple of failed attempts at a sports medicine doctor in the area -- it was really frustrating because I am a runner and hadn't been able to run without pain for quite some time. I had never had acupuncture before and was very unsure about what to expect. Nancy was wonderful -- she helped me understand what was going on with my knees and how she was addressing the issues. I have been coming monthly since then and my knees are feeling better than ever! I've even been able to work up to my regular running routine and have had no more pain.
