What a bunch of incompetent crooks! They will tell you one thing over the phone, then when they get you in the door the story changes and nobody is willing to stand behind their word. Expect to pay hundreds of dollars for them to do their own blood work even when you have records sent from your vet that are a few days old. They will try to get your pet admitted for overnight stays so they can charge you thousands of dollars with no guarantees of procedures being done, because again nobody is willing to give you a definitive answer. Use this place only as a LAST RESORT!
UPDATE: We took our dog to our normal vet the next day and they put her on 2 antibiotics. After several weeks of treatment, she was much improved and has continued to be fine. To think that the "vet" at Carolina Vet wanted to charge us $3,500 to remove our dog's kidney *that night* and she would need special care the rest of her life. So glad we got a 2nd opinion!
