Boone High Country Rentals

This place has been the most inconsistent rental company I have ever rented from. They communicate with their tenants through text message and don't communicate well. I decided to end my lease early and move due to some roommate complications and was full expecting a very large fee as specified in the lease, I spoke to 3 different people in the office about it and was told 2 different amounts. Through text messaging the office had agreed on a move out day then 2 days before the day we had agreed upon they told me "be out by tomorrow or pay $100 per day". When I turned in my keys I gave them my forwarding address, and told me my security deposit would be mailed back to me in 2 weeks. I call after 2 weeks, they haven't mailed it, tell me it'll be a month and need my forwarding address again. It's been a full month now and I still haven't received my money. They were also constantly messaging us saying maintenance would be out in our apartment and they would never show up. And, they charged my roommate $30 to pour Drano down her sink. Don't rent with this company, they are ridiculously unorganized and it will just be a headache for you.
