If I didn't have to come for a required physical from work, I would NOT ever step foot in here! My first visit was plain horrible. The front office staffs were not what you imagine an Urgent Care facility would act like. The two ladies who were staffed that day were not welcoming or interested in providing a good experience. After I waited for a long time to be seen (office was empty so I don't know why wait time was so long!), I was taken to a room to get my shots. The nurse's uniform STINKS like old washed clothes that has been sitting in the washer for awhile. She then proceeded to draw my blood and when done, she shook the vial and blood went all over my clothes and the chair I was on!!!! She didn't even notice!!!! That is unsanitary and should have never happened! Lastly, I was seen by a doctor that smelled like a smoke bomb for less than five minutes. He did not ask me if I had any concerns or even went through my physical forms with me. I was sent back to get my TB test read and I'm STILL waiting over 25 minutes to be called in to check my freaking arm! By the way, nobody is here but me!!!!! How long does it take for someone to look at the diameter of my TB shot?! I've done enough of these to know that it takes a second to read it!!!!! Oh, and I was told I was early for my reading but the nurse that handled my shot told me to come in around noon. I was there at 12 which is noon?? There was a lack of communication and they try to make me seem like I was the one in the wrong. Do not come to this place!!!!!
My wife was seen yesterday at AFC. In her words, she walked in there "a hot mess". She's been coughing so much that her throat is swollen and painful beyond belief. She can barely talk above a whisper & that's straining. The staff was patient with trying to hear her & all around a pleasant group of people. A lot of people have complained about wait times... but the wait time was completely acceptable -we think- for a walk in facility and one doctor on duty. The doctor took his time listening to my wife & took his time to find medicine she could take with her already long list of daily medications. Less than 24 hours later and she's already feeling so much better. Overall, her/our experience was great. We'll definitely return to AFC if urgent care is needed in the future.
